Residential Services
Scheduled lawn maintenance and lawn care (fertilization/pesticide) contracts are available.
Lawn services are performed between April and December, depending on weather conditions. Weekly visits include lawn cutting; edging of all walks, drives and beds; as well as trimming around beds and power sweeping of clippings.
Lawn Care (fertilization/pesticide) programs are custom tailored to your lawn/landscape needs. In most cases, a 5 visit program will suit your property’s requirements and provide the right balance of nutrients while controlling disease/pests in the most sustainable manner. We prefer to use organic methods where possible for the lowest impact on the environment.
Whether a simple walkway or an elaborate patio with outdoor kitchen, we can service your hardscape needs. We use the industry’s top products, in conjunction with the most proven techniques to provide a quality finished product that will enhance your lifestyle, increase the value of your home, and stand the test of time.
Long lasting, well-built retaining wall systems provide safety, value and functional beauty to your landscape. Premium materials combined with proven techniques will provide you with the most aesthetic and efficient solution for your needs.
Don’t sacrifice safety or peace of mind with an inferior or improperly installed wall.
Not every pest exists in every landscape. We provide specialized pesticide services for those that exist on your property.
A pesticide is any substance or mixture of substances intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating any pest. Pests can be insects, mice and other animals, unwanted plants (weeds), fungi, or microorganisms like bacteria and viruses. Though often misunderstood to refer only to insecticides, the term pesticide also applies to herbicides, fungicides, and various other substances used to control pests. Under United States law, a pesticide is also any substance or mixture of substances intended for use as a plant regulator, defoliant, or desiccant.
Our area of service for pesticide service is limited to those pests that pose a threat to lawns and landscape plants, and, like our fertilization approach, we work hard to minimize the impact on the environment.
These services include items that are not included in regular weekly services but may be included in a maintenance contract. These include but are not limited to:
Spring and Fall Clean ups – This includes removing leaves, sticks and other debris that may have accumulated.
Pruning – Pruning of trees, shrubs and ornamental plants or of plants requiring specialized care before the seasons change.
Mulch Installation – Includes mulch bed preparation and mulch installation. May also require the disposal of debris generated during bed preparation.
Landscaping services include the following but are not limited to these:
Landscape Design – Landscape design is the art of arranging or modifying the features of a landscape, an urban area, etc., for aesthetic or practical purposes. This includes both hardscape design and softscape design. Both landscape designers and landscape architects practice landscape design. We will meet with you to determine the current state and constraints of your property, what you hope to achieve within your landscape, what you like and don’t like when it comes to landscaping features, explain how specific principles of landscape architecture may affect the overall design and discuss your budget. We will then create a landscape design plan that takes these factors into consideration, modify plans as requested, and submit the finished plans to you for approval. Your approved final design plans will serve as the construction blueprint for helping you realize your landscape goals.
Landscape Maintenance – This includes the items listed above under seasonal services. A scheduled maintenance plan can be formulated for your specific property and executed on a sensible schedule related to those services. This takes away the worry of you having to remember what gets done and when. We will take care of it for you. We will also assess any items that may require attention either immediately or in the future. Knowing what may be coming around the corner can help you prepare accordingly.
Plantings – Selecting the correct shrubs and trees to be used for your landscape planting project takes years of experience in knowing the plants and their growth habits. Before planting trees, shrubs, and plants we will explain your planting options. Every property has many unique micro-climates that need to be identified in order to properly determine not only what looks good, but what will flourish in a particular location. Native plants and the correct planting materials will prevent the shrub or tree from overgrowing its location and will keep it healthy maximizing life span and value.
Lawn Installation – A green, healthy lawn not only looks good, but serves valuable functions in the overall function of your landscape. There are different ways to perform lawn installation depending on location, size, desired effect and budget. We will discuss these options with you to determine the best method to achieve your goals.
Drainage/Grading – Proper grading and drainage practices will help maximize the usage, health, value and health of your home and landscape. They can also provide erosion control and prevent loss to your land from rain and runoff. Proper grading can help control water and reduce damage to structures, plants and landscape elements. It can also help reduce the need for watering depending on site conditions. Drainage systems are needed to fix issues with standing water, storm-water run-off, or other water problem areas.
Water Features – Water features can help turn your landscape into something special, providing a focal point and attracting wildlife, masking environment noise and soothing the senses. From a simple pond or fountain, to a reflection pool or complex waterfall with streams, you will enjoy our quality water feature design, sound structure, and professional installation. We also offer water feature maintenance.
Landscape Lighting – Landscape lighting provides the finishing touch on a home’s exterior appearance. Well-placed exterior lighting creates curb appeal, accentuates interesting architectural features, and can add interest and drama to a home and its surrounding landscape when the sun goes down while providing an added element of safety. We can design and install a complete home landscape lighting design or simply highlight specific aspects of your landscape.
Maintenance contracts can be custom designed to fit your needs and budget to encompass the yearly landscape maintenance requirements of your property. You won’t have to try to remember what should be done and when you leave that to us your landscape will be taken care of automatically.
